Who We Are

Gold Rush Mini Golf is a family-owned mini golf and entertainment venue on the Western Highway at Warrenheip, just outside Ballarat.


We’re built around two fully themed 18-hole courses. Gold Rush, our outdoor course, tells the story of Ballarat’s goldfields, from the diggings to Eureka. Lost in Time, our indoor course, is glow-in-the-dark and full of dinosaurs, knights and pirates, so it plays the same whatever the weather.


Around the courses you’ll find arcade games, remote-control boats, a licensed cafe and bar, a party room and a BBQ area. The Cabaret Club is our events space for live music, functions and presentations, with room for up to 150 guests.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is mini golf suitable for all ages?

Yes. Both courses are easy to pick up, and children 3 and under play free with a paying adult. Lost in Time uses UV lighting, which may frighten some very young children, so Gold Rush outdoors can suit little ones better.

When are you open?

Thursday and Friday 10am to 6pm, and Saturday and Sunday 9am to 6pm. We’re closed Monday to Wednesday during school term and open every day through the Victorian school holidays, and on every public holiday except Christmas Day. The last round goes out at 5:30pm.

Is mini golf suitable for all ages and skill levels?

Mini golf is one of the most inclusive recreational activities available, making it perfect for everyone from toddlers to grandparents. Gold Rush Mini Golf courses are thoughtfully designed with varying hole difficulties, so beginners and seasoned players alike can enjoy the challenge without feeling frustrated or bored.
